delivery program that would guarantee four-hour same-day delivery to preapproved
customers who order by noon, and 8AM next day delivery for orders received after
noon. Such a program would allow restaurants to carry fewer supplies, yet have
a reliable delivery options. The restaurants order by phone and are billed
monthly for their purchases. You have been asked to design the systems in a way
that optimizes cash flows. Do so by responding in detail to the following

1. What criteria would you use to prequalify customers?
2. What are the input and output transactions (excluding
   reports) that the system must process.
3. What reports should the system produce? What application
   controls would ensure the completeness, accuracy and validity of the information
   in the reports?
4. Draw a systems flowchart of the planned system.
5. What are the threats to the system and what control
   procedures would mitigate these threats?
