Box Tops Education Program
Write a BRIEF introduction paragraph on the following four:
What is it?
Who runs it?
What does it say it does?
Logistics for participating schools
Focus mainly on this section… the conspiracy behind Box Tops and the negative aspect of it. Is it really worth contributing and spending so much on considering the profit margin? Who are the owners behind this? Who are the stakeholders and policymakers? What are their parts in this?
Who’s profiting? Can you get a sense of the largest entity (macro corporation)
Is there a connection to campaign contributions ($ in politics)
Can you get a sense of the profit each participating corporation gets per unit?
(i.e., box tops appear on Kleenex boxes. who owns Kleenex? does the parent corp. make campaign contributions? what’s Kleenex’s profit margin overall and per box of Kleenex?)
