Persons
Life sentences are only 25 years.
Minors may smoke but not buy cigars.
It is illegal to walk the streets wearing black clothes, felt shoes and black shoe polish on your face.

Having an article of disguise without a lawful excuse is illegal. (Vagrancy Act 1966)
It is illegal to “seed or nucleate clouds by artificial means from a manned aircraft” to make it rain. (Rain making Control Act 1966)
Only licensed electricians may change a light bulb.
It is illegal to wear hot pink pants after midday Sunday.
You must have a neck to knee swimsuit in order to swim at Brighton Beach.
All the way until the Port Arthur Killings it was legal to own an AK-47 but not legal to be gay.
Vehicles
Keys may not be left in unattended vehicles. (Road Safety Regulations 1999)
Taxis have to keep a bale of hay in the boot of their car (Repealed in most states).
Animals
It’s an offence to drive a dog or goat harnessed or attached to a vehicle in a public place. (Summary Offences Act 1966)
In the state of Queensland, Australia it is still constitutional law that all pubs must have a railing outside for patrons to tie up their horse
People may not come within 100 meters of a dead whale carcass.
