of Technology Development in your entertainment company asked you to review
statements issued during the last two years by the Securities and Exchange
Commission (SEC) and Federal Trade Commission (FTC) regarding the protection of

Supreme Court decisions rendered in the last five years. In addition, he would
like the names and contact information for key people knowledgeable of IP
within the SEC.
2.The CEO of a
food processing company is evaluating acquisition opportunities, and has
requested the names and brief biographies of the members of the Board of
Directors of the three most profitable competitors in the snack food segment of
the industry. He also would like information published in the last year
regarding the impact of the global economic downturn on this industry segment.
(NOTE: BOD names are not necessary.)

executives in each company.
5.Your spouse
is considering a career change, and has asked you to assist in compiling
information regarding companies in the beverage industry. While you both would
like to stay in the Atlanta area, the research also should consider major
companies in Chicago, Dallas and Toronto. Information needed includes company
location, type (manufacturer, wholesaler/distributor, retailer), size (annual
sales), and key people to contact (name, telephone number, email address,
