About the Opportunity

This is an open position with the FirstEnergy Service Company, a subsidiary of FirstEnergy Corp. There are two (2) opportunities available.

As an IT Business Information Systems Intern at FirstEnergy, you will have an impact on the team’s success. Based on your academic discipline, as well as the department and projects you are assigned to, selected candidates may:
– Work closely with IT Business Analysts and various FirstEnergy Business Units in the Customer Billing and Customer Deregulated Areas
– Deliver IT solutions and help achieve business goals
– Learn how technology supports various business processes and disciplines
– Complete analytical work as it is defined along with the development or modification of test plans
– Collaborate with other FirstEnergy business units, as well as other departments of IT, to complete projects
– Complete Process, Integration and Stress testing for application projects or upgrades, and ensure that correct business functionality is being delivered
– Deliver effective client support through the investigation of client issues
