Your tasks
You are required to keep a consumption diary and to place a copy of this diary in the Appendix of your assignment. The diary shall record your consumption activities, preferences, choices, purchases and experiences for a period of two (2) weeks within the first four weeks of this course.
Your diary should be completed in Word and have a column with the day/time, another column to record your consumption activity, preference, choice, purchase or experience and a third column to record your reflections (e.g. what you were doing, why you did what you did, who you did it with, what you were thinking/feeling etc…).
Your assignment should be structured with a title page, a contents page, a short introduction telling the reader what to expect in the written communication and then a section for each task, e.g. situational influences, consumption perspectives, value perspectives, satisfaction, relationship quality, perception, learning and memory, motivation and feelings, personality and the self-concept, a reference list and an Appendix. When structuring your assignment, use the tools in WORD to help you structure your assignment, for instance, the style guide, in WORD, the “insert title page” or “insert table of contents page”, “insert page numbers” etc… the tools in word are useful and will help you to prepare a professional looking “report format” to structure your assignment. Please note that your assignment does not require a conclusion because the assignment is a reflective piece.
Using your textbook and Module 2, identify any situational influences affecting your purchases. Situational influences include time, place and conditions.
