MIS 5501 Database Management Systems Final Project Using teams of two or three people, demonstrate proficiency with database components and
design, you are asked to create a mini-database for a real-world application. An electronic copy of the database will be due on the day of the last class,
when you will be asked to present and demonstrate your database system in class, with the high enrollment, plan on no more than 10 minutes for your
presentation, so focus your effort on the database, the narrative and an accurate ERD. You may pick up a topic of your choice/interest. You should
include: (add more than the minimal please ⢠At least 4 tables (that are related) ⢠At least 3 forms (bear in mind quality of user interface) ⢠At least 2
report of results from a query ⢠At least 5 queries These are the minimal requirements for receiving a grade B. You are encouraged to achieve higher
standard of work by adding the complexity and usability of your database design, e.g., creating more tables and other objects, and/or by enhancing the
attractiveness and user friendliness of the interface, use macros, navigation capability, such as the Switchboard. Consider including queries that involve
multiple tables and as well as validation rules and/or input masks, recalling those we originally used in Assignment I. Deliverables (PDF and ACCDB/MDB
formats are fine): ⢠electronic copy of the database (ACCDB/MDB) ⢠a entity-relationship diagram, Crowâs Foot notation (1 page, PDF) using the free
modeling software. ⢠A brief description of the database (1 page), noting how you employed the key concepts that we learned in the course. (Word/PDF)
