Forecast
On the Data sheet is the historical demand for the last 5 years (2006-2010). Based on this data, develop a demand forecast for the next 5 years (2011-2015).
There is a feeling among many in the company that demand is beginning to slow. Thus, two forecasts are desired. One in which the historical growth is extended out over the next five years, i.e., no change in growth rate. The second forecast should use the current growth rate for the next two years (through the 4th quarter of 2012). However, over the final three years (beginning with the first quarter of 2013), the growth rate should decrease by 30% from the current growth rate. Identify a single cell to specify this reduced growth rate. Then the growth rate for years 2013 through 2015 can then be changed by changing the value in this cell.
