The first task in your project is to write and submit your introduction and main objectives for your project on HRIS system implementation. You should complete this assignment as if you were writing to the members of the upper management of a middle-sized company. Write both of these in one Word document. Follow these steps:
- First, write a one-paragraph introduction in which you outline the objectives of your project. Here you outline your ideas and rationale (why are they important) for three processes in a middle-sized company in a way that supports HR decision making, coordination, and control. Remember, the three processes are: (1) maintain employee records, (2) track employee job performance, (3) and support training and career development.
Note: The Introduction should be designed to attract the attention of your readers (upper management) and give them an idea of the essay’s focus. Begin with an attention grabber. A few sentences explaining your topic in general terms can lead the reader gently to your thesis. Each sentence should become gradually more specific, until you reach your thesis.
- Secondly, write a needs-analysis where you discuss the HRIS system design and acquisition process. This will provide a basic map to upper level management of how you will address the three processes plus a conclusion in which you provide a general assessment of your plan. Please contact your instructor for specific details.
