Introduction
The task is to add a GUI interface for Assignment 1.
The GUI will provide a visualization of each of the Buffers in the Host and Network Interface objects.
The GUI will visually show the movement of messages between Buffers.
Additional Features
All messages to be sent will be read from file (refer Lab 7)
When the program starts the user will have the option of selecting the console interface or the GUI interface. (Both must work)
Clicking on a message/frame contained in a Buffer will cause details of the message to be displayed in a dialog box.
The GUI will support both timed movement of messages and manual movement.
Important attributes/qualities/features to be demonstrated
There must be a clear separation of the business logic from the user interface code.
You must show that you know how to use Exceptions to manage errors, including throwing your own exception and catching exceptions.
You must demonstrate the model which makes a class an ActionListener and also demonstrate the use of an anonymous inner class as an ActionListener.
The program must allow the user to move a single message/frame from one Buffer to its next Buffer.
You must make the View listen to the Model. Register the view as a listener. Notify the view when a change in the model…
