What minimum NPSHR would you specify for the pump and why?

4) Size a control valve for the above system to provide a normal P of 15 psi.

5) Determine the thrust generated by a 20’ long, 6” dia., sch 40, steel pipe anchored at each end and undergoing a change in temperature of 180 deg F. Would you recommend this design? Explain.
