The current public policy does not specify the marital status or the economic condition of the adult children. The public question is whether the married and the economically stable adult children should be recognized as dependents? For this public policy problem to be solved section 2714 of PL 11-148 should be amended. After the amendment then the section should recognize dependents as the unmarried adult children who cannot depend on themselves.
