hi i was wondering if you could help me with this predator-prey
simulation . in biology 1020 lab. I am getting really confused( its
an interactive wolf-rabbit simulation)

I would like a one page write up answering questions revolved
around population growth from a computer simulation. This computer
simulation models the relationship between grass, rabbits and
wolves.

The write up should answer questions such as:

What types of feedback mechanisms are occurring (i.e. what are
limiting and increasing factors regarding population growth)?

When does exponential population growth occur in rabbits,
grasses and wolves?

You can also put any thoughts you may have. I encourage relevant
thought tangents.

Switch “Forest Border” to island. This will ensure limited
habitat boundaries

Place “Forest Size” on small.

Click “Start Simulation”

Click “View Population Growth” a chart will pop up. This chart
will show population statistics of each rabbits, wolves and
grasses. Watch interaction between populations. Make note of what
is happening when you view exponential growth and logistic
growth.

Carry the simulation out until time 200. You can adjust speed of
simulator in box following “speed”

Steps 4-6 two more times. One changing “Forest size” to medium,
the second changing “Forest Size” to large.
