The current developers took over in March of 2013 after the previous developers went bankrupt following the collapse of the housing market. The plan calls for the building of 24 townhouses, 29 boat slips, 13 parking spaces, installation of all underground utilities, and the roads. The budget of the project, including the acquisition comes in at $6,000,000. The current developers took over the project with 6 buildings already built and one building with footing and foundation. They build one more building, installed all of the underground utilities, did all of the interior and exterior finishes, built the boat slips and a boardwalk, and the roads. Key milestones of the project include the finishing of all the foundations, the building of the boardwalk and boat slips, the interior and exterior finishes of the buildings, installation of underground utilities, and the paving of the roads. Construction for this project has finished, and they are currently waiting on subdivision approval from the county and approval from the health department. Once this is done, they developers will be allowed to begin selling the individual units.
