Who should get the kidney?

Candidate A

The Transplant Review Board of Affiliated Hospitals has called for an emergency session to assess the proper assignment of a kidney that will become available in the next few days. As the demand for kidneys far exceeds the supply, the Transplant Review Board must carefully consider each candidate’ history in order to determine which of eight potential transplant recipients will receive the available kidney.

You have been assigned to advocate on behalf ofCandidate A. As your client’s exclusive advocate, his/her health and livelihood depends on the success of your plea before the Board.

Your advocacy team has until Saturdaynoon to create a well thought argument written argument which you will need to post as a team on the discussion board– because the Transplant Board is under urgent time demands. You are asked to use the wiki tool of the BB site to develop this argument as a team. Your argument has to be posted before Saturday midnight.
