In Power generation, transmission lines are designed to transmit current from power plants to feed the power stations. They are used to transfer the high voltage electrical energy. The transmission lines are connected forming an electrical network (grid) to feed electricity to every region. There different types of transmission lines and each type have a different use. They can distributed by the distance of transmitting which will result in three types which are long range , medium range and short range transmission lines. It is a fact that the distant is proportional to power losses. In other meaning, when the line is very long the losses will increase and vice versa.
